My Work Style
I have a pretty laid back approach when it comes to your family, couple, or fashion session. I want you to feel comfortable and like you can be yourself. That is most important. But I also want us to think out of the box and get creative with the session if possible. Not just stick to facing the camera, stand, and say cheese poses. Do you have a hobby? Does your family love doing something in particular together? Does a certain styled outfit scream YOU and you want to base your location around it? Could we incorporate any of this into your session somehow? I want you to look at your images and think, "Wow, this is me/us."
I want to capture personalities, quirks, the warm smile you give your partner, the quick tug of the shirt from your little one looking up at you, an empowering pose highlighting your fierceness. This is all about you and I want to bring our vision to life.
My editing style has seen many changes over the years. In a good way, I think. I've always been a big fan of contrasted, bold colors. Most recently, I've been slowly but surely shifting my photography editing style to a more cinematic, editorial look with my own take on the two styles. It just speaks to my heart a bit more in this chapter I'm in as an artist. You're going to see my website transform over the next several months as I update my work that is displayed. I cannot wait to share.

What services do you offer?
I photograph families, couples, and fashion.
Couples Photography Sessions: Maternity, Anniversary, Engagement, 'Just Because', Newlywed, Proposals
Family Photography Sessions: Maternity, Small Family Sessions
Fashion: Individual, Some Branding, Boutiques or Online Influencing for Social Media
What is your turnaround time?
I provide a few image sneak peeks before delivering your gallery. You will receive your complete online gallery within 2-6 weeks of your session. Quite a few variables go into this, so each session gallery turnaround time may be different because of reasons like busy season, if the gallery is larger than most, etc.
What is the process?
I customize the experience for YOU, so each process is different with every client (couples/family). Once you fill out the 'Contact' form on this page, I send over an informational brochure for you to go over. After you've selected your Collection and have given more details about your project you are inquiring for, we can set up a video/phone call to go over everything.
Do you provide digital images?
Your gallery, when edited and delivered, will have the digital image downloads included in your collection purchase. You will be able to download both the print size and web sharing size.
Do you photograph weddings?
I do not photograph weddings. I leave that to the incredible, talented photographers out there that specialize in documenting momentous days like a wedding.
Do you offer gift vouchers?
I sure do! I will fill the details out for you like voucher number, valid thru, etc. All sales are final. Gift vouchers are non-refundable.
Where are you located?
I'm located in Richmond, Missouri. It is about an hour northeast of Kansas City, Missouri.
I am available for travel throughout Missouri. Travel fees are not reflected in the prices of collections. Contact for more information on this subject.
What do we wear?
I can send over a guide that may benefit you if you're looking for help on colors, style, etc. It really just depends on the location and what you will feel comfortable in, style wise, while remaining true to yourself! I'm a detail person, so I'm ALWAYS up to discuss details on how to make your session the best
Do you charge travel fees?
There are travel fees set in place for Missouri and if I am required to travel outside of our great state.
Do you offer editing presets?
I do not offer photography editing presets at this time. I get this question often from you talented photographers. Possibly one day in the future! Until then, thank you so much for your support.
What if I need to reschedule due to an emergency or inclement weather?
Life happens. Sometimes it is completely out of our control when things like family emergencies or inclement weather moves in. I am more than happy to reschedule, waiving the rescheduling fee.
What time do sessions take place?
I photograph primarily around Golden Hour (1-2 hours after sunrise/before sunset). BUT, different times of the day produce different vibes. I love photographing mid-day (chasing shadows and softer light) in the city for fashion, though! It is important to determine what kind of lighting you want at your session. If it calls for heavy rain on your photo session date and you're a golden hour, warm sunlight kind of person, we will most certainly reschedule.
